RECRUITMENT OF NURSING AND PARA-MEDICAL CADRES – 2018
The advertisement for recruitment to 17 Paramedical & Nursing Cadre Posts – 2018 was advertised by different Regions
in ESIC vide advertisement dated 21.12.2018.
The written examination in rest 15 cadres - Audiometric Tech, Dental Hygienist, Dietician, ECG Technician, Jr. MRT,
Lab Assistant, Lab Technician, Medical Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Optometrist, OT Assistant, Pharmacist
(Allopathy), Pharmacist(Homeopathy), Physiotherapist, Staff Nurse was conducted on 26th & 27th February, 2019.
The Link for viewing the (1) Questions (2) Correct Answers and (3) Answers Marked by the Candidate in the Online
Examination and for (4) Submitting Objections (if any) was uploaded on ESIC website www.esic.nic.in vide Notice dated:
5th March, 2019.
The objection received from the candidates through the above link upto the closing date for submission of objection i.e.
upto 8th March, 2019 have been examined. During Objection Management some Questions have been found invalid.
In Combined Merit List, the Invalid Questions are not taken into consideration for final merit and the score against Valid
Questions only is pro-rated against total 125 marks.

The following is uploaded along with this Notice for information to the candidates:
(1) Combined Merit List (Region wise / Post wise) in 15 Paramedical & Nursing Cadres and

(2) Standard Question Paper cum Final Answer Keys in 15 Paramedical & Nursing Cadres.

As notified in the advertisement, for the post of Junior Medical Record Technician and Optometrist/Refractionist
(wherever vacancies are notified in these cadres) the candidates for these posts shall be shortlisted for Computer Test
in the following ratio:

The Minimum Qualifying Marks/Qualifying Standards for different categories shall be as under:
Category Minimum Qualifying Marks/Benchmark
UR 45%
OBC 40%
SC, ST & Ex-Servicemen 35%
PWD – Person with Disabilities 30%

The result of candidates finding place in Select List and shortlisted for verification stage shall be declared by the
concerned Region of ESIC for which the candidate has applied. The candidates are advised to regularly visit the website
of ESIC Hqrs. Office www.esic.nic.in and website of concerned Region for which they have applied for further updates.
