METHODS
Research Design
This study utilized ____________________ type of research on the
Detachable Hammer. Quantitative Method/Qualitative Method focus on (insert
related literature about the method that you used.) The quantitative/qualitative
part of the study was done through the use (insert instrument used).
Respondents of the Study
The study used (insert percentage) of the overall population of Grade
(insert year & strand) students in the Senior High School of AMA Computer
College. The researchers decided on using (insert percentage) because it is the
optimal size of sample population in random sampling, according to the Research
Adviser’s input.

Instruments
Since the study is all about ___________________________, the
researchers used a questionnaire relevant to the study as an instrument for
gathering the needed data for students as the respondents.

To check the validity of the items to be included, the researchers asked the
help of experts in the field such as (insert names of the validators) in giving
suggestions and comments applied in order to ensure the instrument’s validity and
reliability.
Data Collection
The researchers wrote a letter addressed to the subject teacher to ask
permission to conduct the study. The researchers made use of Random/Purposive
Sampling in choosing the respondents. The respondents were selected randomly
from Grade 12 TVL students, (insert percentage of the respondents) of the

population from each grade level, from the Senior High School. Questionnaires
were given to the respondents and all the returned questionnaires were examined
by the researchers.
Ethical Consideration
The researchers made sure that ethical standards were strictly followed
and no one was subjected to humiliation. The gathered information including the
respondents’ responses was and will never be used against them and were treated
with confidentiality. If in the future this research will be used, permission must be
sought and the data must be sought again.
Statistical Treatment of the Data
The following statistical tools were used in the study:
For Descriptive Measures:
A. Weighted Mean
For the descriptive measures, the researchers used the Weighted Mean. It
is a measure of the center of a data set. Weighted mean can be solved by
adding together all the data points and dividing by the total number of data
points. Each number counts equally in the calculation. In a weighted average,
some numbers count more than others or carry more weight, so use a weighted
average whenever some data points are worth more than others.
