Ezra: A Model of Faith and Leadership

Ezra was a priest, scribe, and administrator who lived according to God's word and had a personal relationship with Him. He was trusted by the Persian king to lead Jews back to Jerusalem with wealth to rebuild. Ezra was humble, sensitive to sin, led by example, and passionate about God's word. He teaches that God is just to punish sin but also merciful, that no one can stop God's plans, and that God uses people dedicated to Him.
