INSTALLATION PROCEDURES - DEVICES
Step 1:
● Identify Syrus 3G and the Developer Programming Box.
Step 2:
In order to program the Syrus 3G, you need to connect the following cables:
● Ground (GND), Power (VCC), TX and RX
On the Developer Programming Box, push down with a flat-head screw driver the top of the connector to
open it and then insert the proper cable into its specific connector as shown below:
The cables should look like this once inserted to start programming:

The following steps are for upgrading the devices firmware.
If you are a Pegasus Gateway User you do not need to follow these steps since the firmware is
automatically upgraded, you may proceed to use your Pegasus Gateway script configurator
PROGRAMMING PROCEDURES – SOFTWARE
Step 3:
1. Connect the USB Mini B data cable from programming box to the computer
2. Connect Power adapter to the Programming box
On your PC you should see a Driver Software Installation window.
If your PC fails to recognize the drivers, please visit the following page for instructions.
Open up the SyrusDesk Program - Click here to download
Click the button to scan for ports

Device found, click the 15 digit number tab along the top
Write the following command in the white line and press send to test communication
>QVR<
You should see a response in the console window with something similar to :
>RVR;__S3 Firmware__;ID=__IMEI__<

Program the Network Settings - APN, Username, Password
Replace the letters in red with your SIM Card provider’s information (Login/Password Optional)

Example: >SRFAinternetd.gdsp<
Wait about 5 minutes.
Once the device has a valid IP address
you should see something similar to this in the console window.
