SCENE 1
INT: SMALL TOWN – PARK – MIDDAY
Main characters (JOHN, BILLY and PABLO) are kicking a football
around in a park
SOUND: KICK
SOUND: KICK (LOUDER)
JOHN BILLY what did you do that for?
SOUND: BOUNCE
BILLY I don’t know JOHN, I just wanted to see how hard I
could kick it
PABLO Well go get it then
BILLY No you get it Pablo
PABLO yeah but you kicked it away mate
BILLY fine then
JOHN idiot.
(Faint footsteps can be heard as character BILLY crosses the
road)
SOUND: FOOT STEPS
BILLY (in the distance) guys, come here!
PABLO (to John) Great, what does he want now?
JOHN probably something stupid Pablo
(We hear JOHN and PABLO jogging over to Billy)
SOUND: FOOT STEPS
BILLY I think the ball went into this weird looking hole
PABLO I don’t think I have ever seen anything like this
have you JOHN?
JOHN No, but it’s my ball and I want it back so I’m going
to go get it.
BILLY I’m going to, this looks interesting
PABLO I don’t really think this is John good idea it
doesn’t look very inviting
SCENE 2
INT: SMALL TOWN – UNDERGROUND RAILWAY STATION – MIDDAY
Main characters (JOHN, BILLY and PABLO) are exploring the
underground railway station.
SOUND: RUSTLING
SOUNDS: FOOT STEPS
PABLO So, do you think that this place is abandoned then?
BILLY Yes I think so, don’t you?
JOHN Obviously by the looks of this place, there is all
overgrown plants and some of the tiles are missing from the
walls
BILLY This place looks quite eerie, but it look sick
PABLO I don’t think its cool, it looks quite creepy to me
JOHN Can we just look for my ball
BILLY How long do you think this place has been abandoned?
PABLO I’m not sure, maybe year’s decades maybe more?
JOHN It has clearly been here John long time
PABLO Anyway I don’t want to be down here long as it looks
creepy and I have John bad feeling about this
BILLY Don’t tell me you’re scared? JOHN did you hear that?
JOHN Yeah, can we just find my ball and get out now?
BILLY Oh I see you’re scared too, is the spooky ghost
going to get you?
SOUND: TRAIN BREAKING
PABLO What was that!?
JOHN I don’t know, it sounded like a train or something?
BILLY (laughing) you guys should’ve seen your faces!
PABLO yeah yeah alright BILLY
JOHN Seriously though, what was that sound because
nothing happened
BILLY Well it sounded like a train, but we didn’t see one
PABLO see I told you this place was bad
BILLY why are you so scared mate? nothing happened.
JOHN right, can we keep going now?
BILLY yeah, I’m having fun down here
PABLO I’m not
SCENE 3
INT: SMALL TOWN – UNDERGROUND RAILWAY STATION – MIDDAY
Main characters (JOHN, BILLY and PABLO) are exploring the
underground railway station
SOUNDS: FOOTSTEPS
JOHN we have been walking for John while now, are you
sure?
BILLY I think so, because judging by where I think it hit
the stairs it must’ve hit them and continued down these tracks
for John while.
JOHN alright then we will have to follow the tracks to
see where the ball went
PABLO I will come too even though this doesn’t feel very
safe
BILLY quit your worrying we will be fine nothing is going
to happen to us and this place has been abandoned for years,
its most likely haunted by all the spooky ghosts (imitates
ghost)
(Faint water can be heard dripping in the background)
JOHN can you hear that dripping sound?
PABLO yes
SOUND: WATER DRIPPING
SOUND: LOUD BANG
PABLO what the hell was that?
BILLY John large bang noise what do you think?
PABLO no, I meant what caused the sound?
JOHN that’s what I want to know
BILLY we should keep going
JOHN I want to find my ball and get out
PABLO will you shut up about your ball JOHN
BILLY I think your ball is up ahead JOHN, why don’t we
explore more of this place?
PABLO No, definitely not
BILLY why not PABLO it’s cool down here
PABLO It’s not, it’s creepy and I want to get out
JOHN What is that thing?
PABLO Wait what do you see JOHN?
BILLY Look there’s the ball
JOHN It’s not the ball that I saw, I saw something else…
PABLO JOHN what did you see then!
JOHN I think it’s still there…
BILLY Mate, what did you see?
JOHN I… I… I’m going to get my ball now
(Only JOHN starts to walk forward)
SCENE 4
INT: SMALL TOWN – UNDERGROUND RAILWAY STATION – AFTERNOON
The characters PABLO and BILLY are running away
PABLO JOHN what are you doing?
BILLY JOHN stop!
SOUND: LOUD BANG
SOUND: EERIE NOISE
SOUND: VIOLIN
SOUND: RUBBLE
(BILLY and PABLO can be heard coughing and footsteps can be
heard as they start to run)
(Drums play)
PABLO (running) what happened to JOHN, BILLY
BILLY (also running) I’m not sure but I am running away
from whatever created that noise
PABLO forget about the noise BILLY what caused all that
damage?
BILLY I’m not too sure but I don’t want to stick around to
find out
PABLO well I’m not sticking around!
(PABLO and BILLY can be heard running and breathing loudly)
BILLY Look there is our way out!
PABLO Quickly up the stairs!
(footsteps can be heard when they go up the stairs)
(rubble can be heard falling)
BILLY That was close!
PABLO Where is John?
BILLY Back in there somewhere
PABLO Well… what do we do now then?
