READING INTERVENTION PROGRAM


Based on the result of the Phil-Iri conducted by English and Filipino teachers, most of the
learners are struggling in reading literacy. More than fifty percent (50%) of the total enrolment
population of Tuburan Elementary School has been categorized under the frustration level in reading.
Therefore, Tuburan Elementary School has implemented a reading program to help those
learners in need of guidance and assistance in reading literacy. This program is called “PROJECT
TREAT” or Tuburan REAding Technique with the use of some interventions listed below applicable to
all grade level. It was presented and discussed to all the parents especially to those parents concerned
and requested for their full cooperation regarding this matter. This program is not only intended for
those identified learners in need but for everyone in Tuburan ES who wished to widen their learning
horizon.
The following are reading interventions implemented and conducted in every classroom at
1o’clock in the afternoon and during reading remediation;

 RUP- Read Understand and Predict

With the reading intervention plan that we have presented and with the cooperation of the
parents as well as the learner’s determination to read and learn, hence, we are looking forward to the
positive result of our program.
