Model Release Agreement Template

The model release grants the photographer permission to use any media containing the model's likeness for advertising, marketing, packaging, promotion or endorsement purposes. The model relinquishes all rights and licenses to the media and understands the photographer may use or sell the media, including creating derivative works or altering the media. The model agrees to not hold the photographer liable for any claims arising from the use of the media, including libel, slander or privacy violations. Both the model and photographer affirm being of age to sign the agreement.

Model Release

(Suitable for simple model releases between a model and photographer)

For good and valuable consideration acknowledged as received, I grant the undersigned
PHOTOGRAPHER and its assigns, licensees, and sublicensees, permission and the rights to use or
publish any or all MEDIA captured or to be captured by PHOTOGRAPHER that includes my likeness,
which may included in advertising, marketing, packaging, promotion, or endorsement of any
service, company, product, cause, or purpose.

I agree that I hold no rights or license to the MEDIA and relinquish any and all rights in my likeness
in the MEDIA to PHOTOGRAPHER.

I understand and agree that PHOTOGRAPHER and its assigns may use or sell the media that
includes my likeness in whole or in part for any legal means except for pornography. I understand
and agree that PHOTOGRAPHER and its assigns may print, publish, record, create derivative works,
edit, change, and alter any recorded media with my likeness.

I release and agree to save harmless PHOTOGRAPHER for any and all claims arising out of the use of
the subject media, including such claims as libel, slander, or relating to the appropriation of my
likeness or violation of my privacy.

I affirm that I am of the age of majority and have all rights to contract in my name. I have read and
understand this agreement in its entirety, and agree that this Release shall be binding upon my
heirs and assigns.
