I am writing to apply for Cyber Security Analyst post advertised on linkedin. As requested I
have submitted my resume and this is my cover letter.

The role is very appealing to me, and I believe that my technical experience and education
make me a competitive candidate for this position even though I don’t have the required
industry experience. I had worked as an intern in cyber security and had participated and
made it to finals of many hacking (Capture the Flag) competitions in the past and I still do.
Most of the candidates might not have that. These competitions have been helping me
gain lots of knowledge in the field of computer networks and cyber security. I would love to
work at a company like NetApp where I assume the job is going to be much more
challenging that just CTF’s. I consider working on real-time data logs from your cloud
servers as a privilege to improve my skills in cyber defence and incident response.
