A 30-year-old male underwent an X-ray barium swallow examination to rule out a tracheo-esophageal fistula (TEF). Contrast was given orally and images were taken under fluoroscopy. The findings showed normal contrast flow through the esophagus with no filling defects, narrowing, dilatation, or fistulous connections. The conclusion was a normal barium swallow study with no evidence of a tracheo-esophageal fistula.
