Software Requirements Project Guide

The document outlines a group project assignment for a Software Requirements Engineering course. Students must work in groups of up to 4 members to [1] identify a relevant software domain and project, [2] construct functional, quality, and constraints requirements for the project, and [3] model the requirements using UML diagrams. Students must submit a report with an overview, requirements, design documentation, and references. The report will be evaluated based on the quality of the requirements specification, modeling diagrams, and inclusion of references. The project is worth 20% of the course grade.

Requirements Engineering;

II. As a method to the students to experience the steps on applying the process of
capturing a requirements and designing a system (using UML);

III. As an approach to students to produce the partial of functional requirements;

IV. To guide & monitor the students on their understanding of the course.

Task:

Discuss within a group to (i) identify domain of interest for a relevant software project; (ii)
construct functional, quality, and constraints requirements; and (iii) model these
requirements using UML (including use case diagrams, use case templates and class
diagrams). Produce a complete report with following sections:

 Overview of the project (the domain and specific project should be mentioned
in this section);
 Functional, quality and constraints requirements;
 Design (UML) with descriptions; and
