REFLECTION:

On Feb 12th, I presented a math day for 30 KG2 students in the class room at the college. The
main focus was to help students sorting, adding,3D and 2D shapes, patterns and measurement.

In the lesson starter, we will start with morning activity because the students always start
their morning with some activity. Firstly, we learn student how we perform ablutions for
prayer with counting until 20 after that Alia start with the days of the week and Aisha with
months of the year and also Moudhi with the four seasons and finally me with count numbers
from 1-20 and in the end I am summarized every one lesson by asking questions about how
many time we wash our hand, how many days of the week, how many months in the year and
how many seasons in the year.

Next, we send all the student to the center and every center have 7 students. In the first center
with Ms Meera they will learn about 2D and 3D shapes and the second center with Ms Alia
they will learn about adding and sorting animals and the next center with Ms Moudhi they

will learn about measurement and with Ms Aisha they will learn about patterns and finally with
me about sorting.

1- In my center I learn student about sorting and I bring shower curtain and I ask student to
remove their shoes and put in the box and they will sort the shoes in black shoes center or
white shoes or sandal. At the beginning the student can not understand me after that I but on
the each center one shoes to be clear to them and in the end they interesting with me.

For Closing activity Students will explain what they do.
