 Lessons must cohesively link together 3 to 4 apps going from one focus/step of the lesson
to another.
 Lessons may include direct instruction provided the lecture contents are explained.
 Lessons may utilize web browser apps like Chrome or Safari to access website-based
tools. Link to the website in the write-up and the web browser app in the iTunes web link
area.
 The final step in lessons must have students create a learning artifact from a creation-
based app (presentation, video, etc.) or screenshot of progress from a skill-based app
that students would submit to the teacher for assessment.

Description: This app lesson will develop preschool students’ ability to write the letter
T.

Instructional Objective:

 Students will be able to write the capital letter T


 Associate letter T with pictures and objects that start with the letter T.
Step 1 Content-Based:

On this app, the students will learn how to write the letter T. They will trace the letter T
on the screen and then listen to the recoding of the “T” sound. Students will then learn
and focus on the “T” sound and writing the letter T.

Step 2 Content-Based:

On this app, students will listen to the sounds of the letter “T.” They will then match
pictures to go along with the letter T. Dragging the picture that starts with the letter T.
Students will then learn how to connect the two together.

Step 3 Content-Based

When finished, the students will go onto this app and continue with their progress. This
app is based on the students’ progress and how much they have done. This app provides
lessons with songs about letters and different words with the letters.

Step 4 Creation-Based (Learning Artifact):

Students will go on the Notes app and use the pen to write the letter T. They will also use
their imagination to draw a picture dealing with the letter T. After this, the student
should understand how to write the capital letter T and associate it with pictures.
