place a dot of colour on the piece of clothing as they are listening, once
listening is finished and answers checked, they can finish colouring the
pictures.

Speaking practice 20 Disappearing dialogue.

Practice examples of ‘I’ve got (a/an) __colour __clothing item_’.


Go through disappearing dialogue with TA first. Read through dialogue, then
again with some words missing, and again with most words missing.
Split class in two, assign each ss a character and repeat above exercise.

Split class into pairs. Assign each a character and repeat above exercise with
another dialogue.

If there’s extra time, play Pictionary. Whisper a word to a ss. They quickly draw a
picture and their team guesses what it is. Team get a point if guessed correctly.

Assign HW Explain and model homework.
