This document provides packaging requirements and a drop test procedure for individual items shipped by Amway suppliers. It outlines that any product not fitting in Amway's standard carton must be packaged individually. The drop test procedure subjects packages to 10 drops from varying heights and orientations to test if the packaging can prevent damage during shipping and handling. Packages must remain closed and protect the item to pass the test.

Any product or box which will not fit into the Amway carton of 48.5 cm x 28.5 cm x 27 cm should be supplied in an individual
shipping carton constructed in such a manner as to prevent damage to the product during transit and handling. These
products should be subjected to the drop test detailed below to prove the packaging is adequate.

Please ensure that your packaging will comply with this test

1) With the package in its stable shipping position, face one end of the carton with the manufacturer’s
joint on the right.

onto a hard, flat floor

Identify the surface as follows: Largest Side

4) After completing the TEN drops, open package and inspect for damage.

Packaging is unacceptable if it comes open during the test; the item is damaged, or no longer affords reasonable
protection to the item.
