I was able to confidently perform computer troubleshooting and maintenance tasks during my internship due to skills learned in school, such as using the BIOS to reformat, partition, and install applications. I also drew on classroom experience replacing system unit parts and using shortcut keys to efficiently assist students. School provided practical knowledge that made completing my required 300-hour internship at the Philippine Technological Institute of Science Arts and Trade Inc. less stressful.

Classroom learning/theories used during the OJT in Host Company

The learnings/theories from school that I used during my OJT in Philippine Technological
Institute of Science Arts and Trade Inc. are 1st I was able to confidently manipulate and operate
the B.I.O.S because the main troubleshooter of a computer is through the use of it, like
reformatting, partitioning, and many more. And I also able to replace some parts of the system
unit because of some practices/tasks that were performed in school. And I also able to install
different applications that I learned from school like VB.net, PhotoShop, MacroMedia etc. I am
thankful for having those knowledge because it made my day less pressured and stress while I am
finishing my 300hrs in Philtech for my OJT requirements.
And one more thing I learned from school and was able to perform in my OJT days in Philtech is
through the use of shortcut keys, with some knowledge about shortcut keys I was able to assist
some of the students with their work, project and activities and make their job easier.
