Structural Analysis Calculations

1) The free body diagram shows forces acting on a structure with forces of -5 kN and 5 kN. The shear force is calculated to be -5 kN. 2) A second diagram shows shear and moment diagrams with a shear force of -5 kN and the moment ranging from 0 to -30 kN-m. 3) A third diagram gives additional information about forces and reactions on a beam. The shear and moment are calculated for three sections.
