Basic Networking Seminar for 15th SW

The 597th CEISS will conduct a 5-day Basic Networking: Wired and Wireless Seminar for 10 organic personnel of the 15th Strike Wing. The 40-hour course will provide an introduction to networking and its history, identify different area networks and devices, define wired and wireless connections as well as IP addressing and subnetting. Students will learn about the components of wired networking, local and network sharing securities, wired routers, and connection protocols. The course will also cover the installation and configuration of both wired and wireless networks through practical exercises. The goal is for students to acquire basic knowledge of wired and wireless networking.
