Learn at least one technique to curtail negative self-talk
Practice writing down positive self affirmations in an appropriate place.

o Pen/Pencil and Paper
o A Jar (for the activity)
o Sticky Notes
Activities:
Read articles and watch the video, then answer the following:

2) What is a positive self affirmation? (Positive Psychology)
3) What are the three key ideas of Positive self affirmation? (Positive Psychology)
4) What can be done to improve positive thoughts about yourself? (Psychology today)
5) What are the benefits of positive self affirmation (Positive Psychology)
Find a jar, and a stack of sticky notes.
Follow-Up Activities… For future learning
Every day, write a positive self affirmation on a sticky note, and place it in the designated jar.
