Accounting Clerk Responsibilities
Include:
Maintaining files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
Sorting and distributing incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
Answering the phone to take messages or redirecting calls to appropriate
colleagues
Job brief
Your position entails the performance of various administrative and clerical tasks to
support our offices. You will undertake a variety of activities in the office ranging from
filing and answering the phone to basic bookkeeping.
An effective office clerk has the ability to work diligently to help maintain smooth
office operations. You must be reliable and hardworking with great communication
skills. The ideal candidate will also be familiar with office equipment and procedures.
Responsibilities
Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail (envelopes,
packages, etc.)
Answer the phone to take messages or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues
Utilize office appliances such as photocopier, printers etc. and computers for word
processing, spreadsheet creation etc.
Undertake basic bookkeeping tasks and issue invoices, checks etc.
Take minutes of meetings and dictations
Assist in office management and organization procedures
Monitor stocks of office supplies (paper clips, stationery etc.) and report when
there are shortages
Assist in making travel arrangements and booking venues for conferences and
events
Perform other office duties as assigned
Specific Job Descriptions/Specifications:
1. Assist clients in all related inquiries and provide information as to their
concerns, while giving enough accomodation and entertainment
2. Incharge in Monthly Billing
3. Monthly Auditing at the end of every month, all payments, receipts such as
SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, BIR, etc.
4. Help Ms. Pacaña in filing paid receipts
5. Help payments as necessary
6. Processing BIR, Mayor’s Permit, SSS, Pag-IBIG, Philhealth accreditation, if
there are new clients for processing
7. Filing all sort of documents
8. Assist Ma’am Lorie, Sir Greg and Sir Gerald in any office errands.
9. Check and Verify Itinerary of messenger accomplishment
10. Assist VISA, DOLE documentations, Tour Inquiry and Processing
11. Recording of Books
12. Help office cleaning, arranging of things and washing dishes, utensils
13. Answer phone call in good manner
14. Other analogous clerical works
