MAT II (Filipino)

I’m just an ordinary teacher


Who likes to teach children
Sore throat could not hinder
Just to teach the lessons to children

To teach is still not enough


For teacher whose aims are good things,
Home visitation will be implemented
So that helping children will be possibly made.

Various tasks in school,


Need to be performed,
For this is part of our duty,
That we could not set aside.

But despite all the good deeds,


We still experienced to be humiliated
Instead of loving us,
We rather experienced to be.

I did not give up with all the sacrifices, difficulties and pains,
Most of all did not even ask something in return,
Just seeing the smiles in the their lips,
Would ease the tiredness in whole afternoon.

That’s why the only wish for the days to come,


Give our body strength which is our only source of investment,
So that we can continue performing our aspiration,
All this, Oh God, will be performed.
