1 Pamela and Jane Donald are ten years old
.Every day they get up at half past six ,they have
breakfast with their parents then they get ready for
school. They have got their school books and their
homework is ready. They wait in the sitting room
because lessons start at half past eight.
2 Do Pamela and Jane go to school? No they
don’t.There are two desks and a blackboard in their
sitting room. They study at home and their parents are
their teachers. Mrs Donald teaches them all subjects in
the mornings, and she works in the cinema in the
evenings. Mr Donald is a doctor.He examins his patients
in the mornings and he comes home in the afternoons.
He’s the children’s sport teacher. He plays football with
them on Mondays,tennis on Tuesdays,football again on
Wednesdays ,baseball on Thursdays and he takes them
swimming on Fridays.
3 “I love going to school at home”,says
Pamela.”We learn a lot, because we have a very small
class !”Jane loves it ,too but she thinks they work very
hard.”Mum always gives us a lot of homework!” she
says.”I like swimming with Dad best.He’s a cheerful and
a helpful teacher
