APPLICATION SEEKING PERMISSION TO COMPUND THE OFFENCE U/S 320(2) OF CrPC, 1973,

MAY IT PLEASE YOUR HONOUR

The Complainant and the Accused hereinbefore begs to submit as under –

1. That on the information of the Complainant, the Police have registered a case against the said accused, investigated
the case; and filed the Charge sheet against the said accused persons u/s ______ of IPC, 1860.

2. That the Complainant and the accused hereinbefore, have decided that they shall forego the past incident and would
restore their old friendship and would continue their amicable relationship.

3. That the Complainant therefore, is not desirous of pursuing with his Complaint against the said accused.

4. That the offences alleged to have been committed by said accused are compoundable with the permission of this
Hon’ble Court.

5. It is therefore, most humbly, prayed that the Hon’ble Court may be pleased to grant permission to Compound the said
offence, and be pleased to dispose of the case as “Compounded” and the said accused be acquitted and oblige.
