Oxford Fajar Mathematic (T) (Semester 1) Books

The researcher gathered relevant data from specified documents to analyze and better understand the historical context of functions. Some of the methods used included reviewing mathematics textbooks from Oxford to understand course concepts, researching functions online which provided abundant information, using Microsoft Excel to graph more complex functions involving sin and log, and applying summation, subtraction and multiplication throughout the analysis.

My research methodology requires gathering

relevant data from the specified documents and

compiling databases in order to analyze the material and
arrive at a more complete understanding and historical
reconstruction regarding Function. Here are some method
that I used:

Oxford Fajar Mathematic (T) (semester 1) books—

The history of writing the introduction in this coursework
was initially derived from Oxford publication Mathematic
(T) book to give the examiner the general idea and
concepts of the topics being discussed.

Source from the Internet —

Internet browsing was one of the major tool used to
complete this coursework as it provides me with
abundance of information regarding function. Stating the
five different representation of a simple discrete function
was primarily inspired from the wedsite………………
and ………………..
Through this, the examiner and get a broader aspect
about what function are for.
Microsoft Excel 2010 —
For question 5 and 6, it involved a more complex
function which includes sin and logarithmic function.
The graph are generated by substituting the value of n,a,b
and c to give a different combination of the graph and
also to see the changes that is made from the manipulated
value.

Summation,subtraction and multiplication —

The method above was indeed the base for this
coursework. This method is visible throughout the topic
being discussed.
