Job Description – User Interface/User Experience Senior Developer

Skills/Qualifications:
 6-8 years of experience in User Interface/User Experience(UI/UX) space for enterprise
level web and mobile applications.
 Skilled in designing applications, web user interfaces, UI for Mobile and & tablet device.
 3+ years of experience in the development of UX strategy, Interaction Design, and digital
product design Web design, User experience design, Information architecture, Research
analysis, Mobile applications, System design, Software design
 Knowledge of human-computer interaction (HCI), navigation, and usability for UI design,
Interaction Design, Usability, Ergonomics
 The candidate should have the ability to evaluate visual designs that address business,
brand, market, and user requirements including the design and production of screen
layouts, color palettes, typography, user interface elements etc
 Experience working with Balsamiq, Axure, Photoshop, Illustrator, Proto, In‐vision and
Basecamp
 Exposure to HTML5, CSS3, UI Framework, and Responsive design (Media Query),
PhoneGap,
 Familiarity with web analytics, omniture tagging etc.
 Familiarity with PhoneGap development, usage of device any where.
 Must be a team player and enjoy working in a cooperative and collaborative team
environment.
 Adaptable to new technologies and standards
 Proficiency Create UI design documentation/annotations
 Experience working in onsite/offshore model
 Agile development methodology
 Desirable: Web page performance optimization, Accessibility Implementation & testing,
SEO

Responsibilities:

 Develop concepts, design ideation, wire frames, Visual Design and prototype
iOS/Android/Windows and Web based applications
 Be a keen observer of the best in market, ability to think innovatively on how these can
be brought into HP and work with the web and mobile development teams to deliver.
 Work the mobile and web developers to create rework the best in class UI/UX for HP
applications
 Create applications that are industry bench marks
 UX testing and certification
 Work with cross functional teams including onsite and offshore

Education:
 BS or MS degree in any of the following from a reputed institute

 Design, visual communication, interactive/product design, HCI

Location: Bangalore
