Weekly Reflection on Classroom Management

This weekly reflection discusses classroom management and lesson planning. The teacher had a disagreement with another teacher about classroom layout but agreed effective management is important. They then planned lessons for the next week, including reviewing letters, sounds, forces and numbers through engaging outdoor activities to better teach concepts in an enjoyable way for young students.

Weekly 3 Reflection
1

I learned in this week that each teacher has different opinion than others, sometimes

they agree with other teacher’s opinion and sometimes disagree. In this week I discuss with

my school teacher about the classroom management and how we must manage the students

on the mat, and I gave her idea to make the mat bigger than this because they are 25 students

and the mats is too small. She disagrees with my opinion and the reason because she attends a

workshop, and the person who present the workshop explain that the students must set near to

the teacher, but I explain to her that the students must set properly not fighting with each

other, and there is no space between each student. What I believe is that if there is no

classroom management the lesson does not work; because time is wasted in calming students

and attracting their attention to the lesson.

Then we set a plan for the next week, from 28/10 to 1/11, The plan is like what is

going to change because some lessons have not been explained because last week was a busy

week for healthy food, we will also review the lessons so that we can achieve learning goals.

The letter they learn for a week is m sound /m/ for phonics lesson, for the science they will be

review force and motion lesson, and we planned different activities which will be outdoor so

that they understand the lesson well and be in an entertaining and enjoyable way. For the

math we will revise for them the numbers from 0-5, and how we can make or get each

number using to numbers.

I suggested that we make the activities enjoyable because children of this age prefer

activities more than work papers, because what I noticed they do not stimulate the work

papers any interest, and that's what we put in the plans next week; because my time in school

and the lessons and through the activities I have done to teach children a lot and were happy

and excited to work activities.
