Electromechanical System acceptance

The CO environmental and electro-mechanical systems will be inspected as part of the acceptance of the
CO.

CO: refers to Qnbn’s Central offices (shelters and brick build).

Major defects can be defined as one of the following:

 Defect that has direct impact on operations, availability and quality of EM element.
 Defect that has direct impact on project / assets lifecycles.
 Commissioning deficiencies.
 Design Deviations.
 Any non-conformity with national regulation guidelines

Minor defect is a defect or snag that has marginal and limited impact on operation and lifetime of the
electromechanical system.

 Defect severity shall be specified during the inspection visit.

The following documents/requisites are expected to be examined and checked for during the acceptance:

 Single line diagram for all components.

 Electrical Diagrams.

 Building/Shelter as builts

 Functionality test certificate for EM Systems.

 Bill of Materials for all EM Systems.

 Software for configuration and operation.

For EM systems with snags, acceptance team should take photos for the related systems before and after
snags clearance during acceptance visits.

 The following equipment will be required and supplied by acceptance team during CO acceptance
visit:

- Megger test

- GPS-localizer
- Digital Camera
- Portable Computer with software for the EM systems.
- Labeling Machine (Preferred)
- Clamp Multi meter ( AC & DC ) (Preferred)
- Measuring Tape
- Heat gun
- Freon pump
- Standard tool box (for minor cabling or mechanical corrections).
- Smoke pump for Fire Alarm detector.
