RE: 28th SELANGOR AGE GROUP SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP ON 1st – 4th FEBRUARY
2018 AT PUSAT AKUATIK DARUL EHSAN, SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR DARUL EHSAN

Persatuan Renang Amatur Selangor (PRAS) is pleased to extend our invitation to all our affiliates
and swimmers to participate in the 28th Selangor Age Group Swimming Championship 2018.
The championship will be held at Pusat Akuatik Darul Ehsan, Shah Alam, Selangor Darul
Ehsan from 1st – 4th February 2018.

1. MEET INFORMATION

a) Date : 1st – 4th February 2018


b) Venue : Pusat Akuatik Darul Ehsan, Shah Alam, Selangor (PADE)
c) Organizer : Persatuan Renang Amatur Selangor (PRAS)
d) Rules : FINA Rules Applied
e) Age of Reckoning : As of 1st January 2018
f) Entries : No limit to the number of swimmers per event
g) Team Manager Meeting : 11.00am on Saturday, 13th January 2018 at
PRAS Room, Pusat Akuatik Darul Ehsan, Shah Alam
h) Closing Date : 5:00pm on Friday, 5th January 2018

2. RULES AND ENTRY FORMS

Enclosed are the Competition Rules, Order of Events, National Age Group 2018 Qualifying
Times, Group 4 Qualifying Times, TM Meet Event Hy-Tek’s files for your further action.

3. MEET & TECHNOCAL OFFICIALS

PRAS would like to request for volunteers for meet & technical officials to ensure smooth running
of this competition. General guideline for nominating minimum officials during this meet would
be as follow and we would welcome more than the minimum volunteers.

Total Swimmers Entered Minimum Expected Volunteers


1. < 20 swimmers 2
2. 20-50 swimmers 3
3. 50-70 swimmers 5
4. 70-99 swimmers 7
5. > 100 swimmers 10
4. SUBMMISSION OF ENTRIES

Entries are to be submitted by Hy-Tek’s Team Manager soft copy via email to
[Link]@[Link]. Late entries and hardcopy entries will not be entertained.

5. 2018 AFFILIATION FEE

Club: RM50.00 per Club

6. ENTRY FEE

Selangor Swimmers’ Registration Fee : RM20.00 per swimmer


Individual Event : RM6.00 per swimmer per event
Team Events : RM24.00 per event

Note: Fees paid are not refundable

Payment can be made either by cheque or bank transfer to our bank account with United
Overseas Bank a/c 1713008716 in favor of Persatuan Renang Amatur Selangor.

7. ENTRY CLOSING DATE

Entry closing date for the Championship is 5:00pm on Friday, 5th January 2018.
