Rosemount 1151 User Manual

This document provides calibration procedures for Barton pressure transmitters. It describes preparing for calibration by connecting the transmitter to a pressure source, power supply, load resistor, and digital voltmeter. Steps include verifying the transmitter's 4-20mA output range and adjusting it if needed. Accuracy is then tested by applying pressures from 0-100% and checking that the output varies within specifications.

CALIBRATION

PreprIIationfor calibration I
The transmitter should be calibrated in a calibration room. For calibration of each transmitter,
the following devices are required.

o Input pressure device (should have as high an accuracy as possible): Pressure source and
measuring equipmenl)
• Rangea are listed in the table below.
o Power supply: DC power supply (24 V DC) or Fuji Electric FC series power supply unit
(type PX1 or PXL)
o Load resistor: Standard resistor 250 Q (within ±O.O 125 Q)
o Measuring de\'i~: Digital voltmeter (eapable of measuring tnmsmirter OUrpUl with an
accuracy better than 0.1 %)
• Use meter having a S-digit display.
o Hand Held Communicator (HHC) type FXW
• For use with smart type
