2.0 PAY SCALE: Rs. 15600-39100+ 5400 Grade pay
Regarding drawing the pay of the appointed candidate, as per Notification No.
7/204/2012-4FP1/66, Dated 15/01/2015 Govt. of Punjab Department of Finance
(Finance Personnel-I Branch) Chandigarh and Notification No. 1/62016-
4P.P.1/834680/1 dated 07/09/2016 Govt. of Punjab Department of Personnel
(Personnel Policies-1 Branch), Chandigarh fixed emolument equal to
Minimum of the Pay Band without any Grade Pay or any allowance will be paid
during the probation period of three years. It is also clear that Annual
increment or any other allowance except travelling allowance will not be paid
during the probation period of three years.
3.0 ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS :-

Manufacturing Chemistry of a recognized University/Institution.

First Class Postgraduate Diploma in Garment Technology with
one year's professional experience.

First Class M.Sc. in Clothing/Garment Technology of a
recognised University/ Institutions.
OR
First Class B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. Home Science with First Class
diploma in Fashion/Garment Technology of a recognised
University/ Institution with two years experience in
industry/field/training.
OR
First Class Diploma in Fashion/Garment Technology of a
recognised University/ Institution with four years
experience in Industry/ field/training.
Lecturer Chemistry i) Good Academic record with at least 55% marks or an
equivalent CGPA at the Master's degree level, in the
Chemistry from an Indian University, or an equivalent
degree from a Foreign University.
ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should
have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for
Lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test
accredited by the UGC.
Programmer i) First Class B.E./B. Tech in Computer Engineering /Computer
Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
OR
ii) First Class M.E./M. Tech in Computer Engineering
/Computer Science/ Information Technology or
equivalent.
OR
iii)First Class MCA Degree
Lecturer Medical Lab i) First Class Master's degree in Medical Laboratory
Technology Technology from a recognized University/Institutions
OR
ii) First Class Master Degree in Medical/ Clinical biochemistry
or Clinical Microbiology from a recognized University/
Institute.
OR
iii)First Class Graduate in Medical Laboratory Technology or
Medical/ Clinical Biochemistry or Medical/Clinical
Microbiology with three years experience
Lecturer Math i) Good Academic record with at least 55% marks or an
equivalent CGPA at the Master's degree level, in the
Math from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree
from a Foreign University.
ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should
have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for
Lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test

Lecturer English i) Good Academic record with at least 55% marks or an

Physics from an Indian University, or an equivalent
degree from a Foreign University.
ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should
have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for
Lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test
accredited by the UGC.
Note: Punjabi upto Matric standard or its equivalent is essential for all the above posts.
4.0 AGE
Candidates should not be below 18 years and above 37 years of age as on 01-0 2018.(Few
exceptions)
5.0 Competitive Examination
The Commission shall hold a common Competitive Examinations for above all the posts.
Details of which can be seen in the 'General Information for the Candidates".
IMPORTANT NOTE : The candidates can ONLY apply by filling Online Application
Form, a link of which is available on the website of the Punjab Public Service
Commission www.ppsc.gov.in

Last date for depositing Online Application Fee : 06/09/2018
Note 1: The candidates are NOT REQUIRED to send the Hard Copy of the Online
Application Form to the Office of Punjab Public Service Commission. However,
the candidates must take out the hard copy in soft form or print out at the time of
applying otherwise he/she will not be able to take out the copy at the later stage.
He/she must retain the hard/soft copy of online application form along with all
eligibility documents ready to be sent at a short notice to PPSC if required by PPSC
before short listing for interview.
Note 2: However, candidates applying under the Sports Category, will send a hard copy of
'On line Application Form' along with Sports Gradation Certificate and other
certificates related of sports to establish his eligibility under sports category.
Note 3: Candidates applying under Physical Handicapped Category should also refer to
"General Information" with reference to documents to be sent.
