A Random Guide

This guide will show you how to:

(a) Use text-to-speech to talk (Chrome Only)

(b) Use soundboards to talk

1. Go here: [Link]
2. Click this:

3. Install dat
4. Setup:
a. Go to taskbar
b. Right click volume
c. Go to “Sounds”
d. Go to “Playback”
e. Set “CABLE Input” as default communication device
f. Go to “Recording”
g. Set “CABLE Output” as default (overall) device (from this point on you won’t be able
to talk on mic without exp soundboard I believe)
5. Visit this place: [Link]

7. Journey to: [Link] or [Link]

8. Get yo self some sound (you can download directly from the TF2 site by right clicking, here’s
this if you want stuff from YouTube: [Link] be prepared for their new-tab-
ads)
9. Download de Flvto app (optional; it’ll save you a lot of time in the long run)
10. Open up EXP Soundboard (no installation required, now ain’t that nice?)
11. Click “Add”:
a. On “Sound Clip”’s Select, go get your sound file
b. On “Hotkey”’s None, assign a key (I use my numpad keys, and here’s a tip with that:
remember that you can deactivate the number lock to add 2x the clips!)
12. Set output 1 to yo speakers
13. Set output 2 to CABLE Output
14. Tick the “Use” box next to output 2
15. Although I haven’t tested it out, I believe “Mic Injector” allows you to talk as well, set your
mic and CABLE Input in the options
16. Bind yo option keys in options and then you done!

Now for playing the stuff:

1. EXP Soundboard:
a. Just press the hotkey while holding the voice button of whichever game you’re on
2. Text-to-speech:
a. Get this beautiful thingy:

c. Type whatever you want to say in
d. Set the audio output (click on the volume button in the top right of the browser) to
CABLE Input
e. Press “Speak” and hold down the voice button of whichever game you’re on
