Defendant's Answer in Civil Case 123897

The defendant Maya Man filed an answer to a complaint from plaintiff Ricardo Dalisay for collection of money, denying the allegations in paragraph 4 and claiming the obligation has been paid. Maya Man also asserts affirmative defenses that the obligation was paid as Maya Man had purchased the land from Dalisay and paid the promissory notes, and that the cause of action has prescribed. Maya Man files a counterclaim seeking P30,000 in legal fees incurred due to Dalisay's "unwarranted and malicious act."
