Applications are invited from qualified persons for appointment to the posts of “Assistant Professor”
on Contract Basis for a period not exceeding 11 months in the School of Excellence in Law of this
University.

Nature of Appointment On Contract Basis


Qualifications ➢ Candidates must have obtained their Master’s
Degree in the relevant subject/specialization with
minimum 55% of marks [relaxation of 5% marks will
be provided in case of SC/ST/differently abled
(Physically & Visually differently abled)] through the
regular mode only. Qualifying Degree obtained through
Open/Correspondence/Distance Education/Private
Study shall not be considered.
➢ Pass in NET/SLET/Ph.D. (Ph.D. Degree should have
been awarded in accordance with the UGC [Minimum
Standards & Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree]
Regulations 2009).
Pay Consolidated Pay of Rs.40,000/-p.m.

The duly filled in applications [Five sets] with relevant enclosures along with the processing fee
of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only) in case of SC/ST, Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) by
way of Demand Draft in favour of “The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University”
payable at Chennai should be submitted in person or sent by post addressed to “The Registrar, The
Tamil Nadu [Link] Law University, “Poompozhil”, No.5, Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran Salai,
Chennai – 600 028”.
Last date for receipt of filled in applications is 28.05.2018.
Note: [1] The decision to fill or not to fill the post rests with the University.
[2] Mere possession of qualification does not have any right to claim for appearance in the interview.
