Shared-Folder-That-No-L: Hkey - Local - Machine/System/Currentcontrolset/Services/Lanmanworkstati On/Parameters

To resolve delayed error messages when accessing shared folders on Windows 8.1, 10, Server 2012 R2 or Server 2016, create a registry key called "DisableCARetryOnInitialConnect" and set its value to 1. This involves using the Registry Editor to navigate to the specified registry subkey and creating/modifying the correct registry value. It's recommended to back up the registry manually before making changes by exporting the relevant subkey.
