1. Bell Ringer: 5-7 minutes max
(What will students begin working on at start of class that will reactivate prior knowledge from prior

This time should be used as “centers”.Teacher pulls each group in 10 minute rotations to gauge
students knowledge after independent practice and to reinforce the goal of the lesson. Teacher with
one group, students working with partner in another group, individual technology for last group.
Examples: Teacher can read a passage with students, Teacher can go over math problem(s) with
students, Students can be working on annotating a passage with a partner, Students could be working
a problem out on dry erase boards with a partner, Students can be on Khan Academy watching a video,
etc.

disgression but challenging questions should gone over daily.
