At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
A. identify the different tenses of verbs
B. distinguish the part of each tenses of verb.
C. Costruct sentences using the tenses.

A. Daily Routine:
a. Prayer
b. Greetings
c. Checking of Attendance
d. Checking of Cleanliness and Orderliness

B. Motivation:
The students will be grouped into 5. The leader will picked 3 words on a bowl. They will be
given enough time to think how they will put the words in a sentence and act it in front. Groups who
will form a sentence that is gramatically correct will be the winner and will get n additional points in
the quiz

C. Discussion:

PRESENT (main verb)

PAST (past tense of main verb)

FUTURE (will or shall + main verb)

PRESENT PERFECT (have or has + past participle of verb)

PAST PERFECT (had + past participle of verb)


I had studied English.
He had studied English.

FUTURE PERFECT (will or shall + have + past participle of verb)


I will have studied English.

PRESENT PROGRESSIVE (form of "be" verb + "ing" form of main verb)

PAST PROGRESSIVE (past tense of form "be" verb + "ing" form of main verb)

FUTURE PROGRESSIVE (will or shall +be + "ing" form of main verb)
