Assignment 1

This tutorial document provides instructions and 4 problems for solving kinematics and dynamics of machinery using vector methods. The problems involve determining: 1) the displacement of a point on a rolling wheel's periphery, 2) the absolute displacement of a point moving between two positions on a rotating link, 3) the velocities of points and angular velocities of links on a push-link mechanism with a driven crank, and 4) the velocity of a point and angular velocity of a link on another mechanism with a driven crank rotating counterclockwise. Figures correspond to each problem and are to be used in solving the vector method problems.
