The Mediation Boot Camp is an initiative of PACT to empower lawyers and businessmen,
especially the young generation, in the concept of consensual dispute resolution (CDR). This
program will provide participants with core mediation skills and hands-on experience through

PACT - TEAM OF RESOURCE PERSONS
Jonathan Rodrigues is an accredited negotiator and mediator listed with the
Indian Institute of Arbitration and Mediation (IIAM), and an empaneled civil
and commercial mediator with the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA)
for the western region. He has also trained in cross-border dispute
resolution at Charles University, Prague. Jonathan is the co-founder of PACT
and the founding-president of Lex Infinitum, Goa. He serves as a continental
advisor with the SCMA (London) and WMO (Berlin). He is also a listed
member with the Young Mediators’ Initiative (YMI) Hague, and the Goa
Community Mediation Centre (GCMC). With a background in psychology and law, he has worked as
a Mediation Associate with Centre for Advanced Mediation Practice (CAMP). Jonathan has trained in
restorative facilitation under the guidance of Easy Justice (Australia). An award winner at the CDRC
(Vienna) and ICCMW (Paris), he has coached competing teams at international mediation
competitions. He is a lifetime member of the South Asian Society of Criminology and Victimology

NISSHANT LAROIA is a member of PACT. He is an accredited mediator from the
Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), registered by Ministry of Corporate
Affairs(MCA) Government of India and Indian Institute of Arbitration and
Mediation (IIAM). Nisshant is a certified mediator by the Charles University in
cross border dispute resolution and is also the recipient of the Charles IV
Scholarship at the Prague Summer Mediation Academy (cross border disputes),
Charles University. He was a part of the Local Organizing Committee at the
Global Pound Conference (GPC) India 2018 and the Convenor of the GPC
Knowledge Team. He is also the Convener of the ADR Cell at his University.
Nisshant was adjudged the Best Mediator at the 2nd RMNLU Mediation Competition, the Best Mediator
Runner Up at the Vis (East) Hong Kong, and he was also a finalist at the 2nd Symbiosis ADR Tournament.
Pursuing his final year of law studies, Nisshant is an active coach for student teams participating in ADR
tournaments and takes capacity building sessions at other National Law Universities in India.
D. Gracious Timothy is an alumnus of the V.M. Salgaocar College of Law (Goa
University) from where he graduated as Bachelor of Law in 2015. He is
currently an LLM Candidate at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution
(Pepperdine University) as a JAMS Scholar. Gracious is a qualified lawyer in
India, with a primary interest in commercial arbitration and litigation. He is also
an Accredited Mediator, currently empanelled at the Indian Institute of
Arbitration and Mediation and at the Ministry Corporate Affairs (Western Region). He did his training in
cross-border mediation at the Prague Summer Mediation Academy (Charles University), as the
recipient of the Charles IV Scholarship. He is also the Ambassador of the Young Mediator’s Initiative
(YMI) by the International Mediation Institute. He is also the Global Ambassador of IBA-VIAC CDRC
Vienna and Chairs its Young Global Ambassador Programme (YGAP). He is the founding member of

the ‘Peacekeeping And Conflict Resolution Team’ (PACT), a group formed with the sole aim of breaking
down barriers and inspiring people to explore consensual dispute resolution options. He has many legal
academic publications to his name in national and international journals.
ORGANISATIONAL DETAILS
Mediation Boot Camp’.
Dates and Schedules –
The Mediation Boot Camp will be a 2 day intensive workshop.
Certification –
The participants will be awarded certificates by the ‘Peacekeeping And Conflict Resolution
Team’ (PACT) and the Host Organisation and the same will be endorsed by PACT
representatives and representative of the Host Organisation.
Number of Participants –
The workshop style and approach is designed and suitable for a maximum of 40. However,
PACT will be happy to provide a tailor made programme to suit the requirements of the Host
Organisation.
Arrangements Requested from the University –
Domestic flight tickets for 3 resource person.
Accommodation for 3 resource persons (may also be at the University guest house).
Internal transportation: pick up and drop (airport transfers).
Hall/Space to conduct the workshop
Printing handouts for the participants which are to be handed over to the participants
in advance. The handouts will be provided by the resource persons.
Email addresses of all the participants for distributing online reading materials.
Resource Person Fee –
The fee for each resource person in INR 15,000/- per day. The net fee for all resource persons
is for the 2 day training is equivalent to INR 90,000*. (*All 3 trainers might not be present on
all days, therefore, this figure will reduce)

judicial and quasi-judicial bodies, ministries, and
governments. PACT also provides its resources in
conflict management and education by offering a
specific range of training and workshop programs. It
