you choose a username that is already in use, after
clicking Register, the error message This username

numbers. If you use unusual characters, an error
message will appear when you click Register.
Full Name: Please enter you full name.
Email: Please enter your email address. We need this
address to contact you if needed. You will be sent an
email with an activation link to confirm your address,
so it is important that you enter your address properly.
Dont worry, we hate Spam too, so well never send
you unsolicited mail or give other people your address.
Please note: Some free email service providers may
wrongly identify our emails to you as spam. After
clicking Register, you may see the message Our
emails may be blocked by this provider. We
recommend you use a different email address, or press
'Register' to continue. Enter a different email address,
or continue. If you do continue, you may need to look
in your spam or trash folder for the activation email.

You may use a combination of letters and numbers.
The password must be between 4 and 10 characters
long. If the password is too short or too long, a

a new page will open.
If you agree to our terms of use, put a tick in the

problem. Make your correction and click Register
again. You will then see this page:
The registration process is almost complete. In order
to confirm your email address, we automatically send
you an email containing an activation link. You will
need to check your email inbox and click on the
activation link to complete registration. The email also
explains what to do.
We always send out the activation email. If you do not
receive it after a few minutes there may be a problem.
Occasionally, some programs and free email address
providers, including Hotmail and Yahoo, wrongly
identify the activation email as spam. If you cannot find
our email in your inbox, please check the location used
to store junk mail and spam messages.
If you wish, you can ask us to send the registration
activation email again. To do this, go to the login page
and click on the link Resend activation and enter your
email address. We will then send another activation

When you click on the activation link, we automatically
complete your registration. You can now enter your

Wizard Overview
sendspace Wizard is available in three versions, for
use with Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X (Universal
binary) and Linux.
Your Wizard desktop tool may look slightly different to
the images in this guide, depending on your operating
system, and your computer settings. However, the
basic appearance and all menus and functions are the
same in all versions.
This view, as seen on Windows Vista, shows the top
menu, two main windows, local and remote, and the

The local window, on the left side, displays files on
your computer. The remote window, on the right,
displays the files uploaded in your sendspace account.
Below the menu is an address bar to enter download
URLs, as you can see in this view on Mac OS X. Free
users cannot use the Wizard for downloading and may
find this area grayed out.
You can select files and use the top menu to set an
action. You can also right-click on a file icon to set an

computer that is open in the local window view.
Downloading a File using a URL
If you are a Max premium user you can use the Wizard
for downloading.
Enter the URL for the file you want to download from
sendspace in the location below the main menu and
press Enter on your keyboard or click on the green
triangle icon on the right. This will add the file to the
transfer queue.
You must make sure the URL is correct or it will be
rejected. Please note: You cannot enter a sendspace
shared folder URL, it must be for a file.
You can also add multiple file URLs to your transfer
queue. Select the icon on the farthest right, next to the
Enter triangle. A new dialog will pop up.
You can enter or paste the download links you would
like added to the transfer queue. You do not need to
separate them with commas etc, we will extract the
links from the entered text.
You can monitor your downloads in the transfer
window. If you want to download more than one file at
a time, set the number in preferences.
The Wizard has a built-in accelerator with resume
support, so this is the best way to download from
sendspace.
For Pro users: You can use the Wizard to download
your own files or other Pro files, but you will not be
able to download other peoples non-Pro files for
this, please use the main web site.
If you are a free user and would like to use the Wizard
for downloading, you can upgrade your account to Max
at any time.
