Screening test question booklet for the post of Superintendent
Exam on: 28 Nov 2015 Number of Questions: 50 Time Allowed: 1 hour
General Instructions. Read carefully before answering.
1. This question booklet has TWELVE pages including the cover page.
2. There are two sections.
Section-A contains 30 questions (1 30) from page 2 to 8.
Section-B contains 20 questions (31 50) from page 9 to 12
3. Minimum qualifying marks may be set for different sections and/or on aggregate for both sections.
4. Each question contains four (A/B/C/D) alternative answers. In the OMR sheet, darken the
circle corresponding to the (best) answer of respective questions. The OMR sheet also contains
Circle-E. Darken Circle-E only in case you consider any question as wrong/incomplete or you do
not find any of the given four options (A/B/C/D) as correct answer.
5. For each correct answer three marks will be awarded and for each wrong answer one mark will be
deducted. Darkening more than one circle will be treated as wrong answer. Nothing will be done
if any question is not attempted.
6. Books, Calculators, and Mobiles are not permitted for use during the test.
7. Resorting to any unfair means/practice during the test may lead to cancellation of candidature.
8. Maintain absolute silence and discipline. Pay attention to verbal instructions, if any.
9. Return the OMR sheet to the Invigilator after the completion of the test. Candidates are not
allowed to leave the room till permitted by the Invigilators.
10. Decision of the Test Committee will be final with respect to correctness of the questions and
answers.
