Set up a Virtual IBM Datapower Gateway v7.

Requisitos

La mquina debe tener una tecnologa de 64-bit x86.


Tener activado el virtualization technology (VT-x).
Velocidad mnima 2.0 GHz.
4 virtual CPUs
Se recomienda como mnimo 150 GB de espacio en disco.
4 a 8GB RAM.

Configuracin de Datapower Gateway v7.5

Encender el DataPower y loguearse con las siguientes credenciales


login: admin
password: admin
Enter Disaster Recovery mode [yes/no]: no
Enter Common Criteria Compatibility mode? [yes/no]: no
Please enter new password: provide-password
Do you want to run the Install Wizard? [y:n]: y

Paso 1 Do you want to configure network interfaces? [y]: y


Do you have this information? [y]: y
Do you want to configure the eth0 interface? [y]: y
Do you want to enable DHCP? [y]: n
Enter the IP address for interface in CIDR notation: 192.168.xxx.100/24
Note:
La IP configurada est a modo de ejemplo.
Enter the IP Address for default IPv4 gateway []: 192.168.xxx.100
Enter n for question to configure eth1, eth2 and eh3 interfaces.

Paso 2:
Do you want to configure network services? [y]: y
Do you want to configure DNS? [y]: n
Paso 3:
Do you want to define unique system identifier for the appliance? [y] :
Note: Ingresar un hostname para el DataPower

Paso 4:
Do you want to configure remote management access? [y]: y
Esta configuracin require la IP de la interfaz de gestin.
Do you have this information? [y]: y
Do you want to enable SSH? [y]: y
Enter the local IP address [0 for all] : 192.168.1.10
Nota: Ingresar la misma IP configurada anteriormente

Enter the port number [22]:


Nota: Enter para aceptar por default.
Do you want to enable WebGUI access [y]: y

Enter the local IP address [0 for all] : 192.168.1.10


Nota: Ingresar la misma IP configurada anteriormente

Enter the port number [9090]:


Nota: Enter para aceptar por default.

Paso 5: Do you want to configure a user account that can reset passwords [y]: y
Es opcional

Paso 6: Do you want to configure the hard disk array? [y]: y

Do you want to continue? [y]:


Enter name for the file system [ondisk]: dpdiskarray
Nota: Ingresar un nombre apropiado
Paso 7 Do you want to review the current configuration? [y]:
Do you want to save current configuration? [y]: y
Overwrite previously saved configuration? [y/n]:
And now everything should be set and you can get to web interface.

Paso 8 Ingresar a la consola Web y aceptar los certificados
