Amount of RAM depends on how many slots I. Hard Drive
there are and how much memory there is in
each
If each RAM is 512MB, then the total RAM for 3
slots is 1.5GB, for 4 slots is 2GB
D. Graphics Card/Video Card
Data storage device
Has multiple connections (usually one for data -
wider, and one for power - smaller)
J. Floppy disk
Obviously used to read Floppy Disks
For desktop/monitor, generates output images
to a display
Other parts:
E. Ethernet card
K. CPU

Wired data connection


F. Motherboard Located under the fan and heat sink (hidden)
Purple flat box (sorry no pic ) Carries out instructions

Connects to the hard drive
Silver metal box under fan
2 connectors:
Heat from CPU dissipates to heat sink
Bigger one hard drive, optical drive, CD ROM
N. Watch battery
Smaller one floppy disk
Silver circle on motherboard
H. CD ROM/Optical Drive
Powers the real time clock
