Weapon Breakage and Damage Table

Weapons and items have a chance of breaking based on their quality when subjected to damage. Poor quality items have a 50% chance of breaking while average items have an 80% chance and superior items have a 90% chance. Magical items receive a 1% reduction in chance of breaking per plus. Wooden and fragile items have lower chances of breaking at 30% and 20% respectively. Critical hits on weapons can result in double damage or a saving throw to avoid being disarmed, knocked down, or taking bodily damage depending on the critical hit roll.
