Sulodexide Drug Study Overview

This document provides information about the drug sulodexide for a 74-year-old patient diagnosed with cerebrovascular disease. Sulodexide is prescribed 250 LSU/cap orally twice a day for 10 days to treat cerebrovascular disease and transient ischemic attacks by reducing thrombotic risk through antithrombotic and hypolipidemic effects. Nurses should monitor for signs of bleeding, hypersensitivity reactions, and mild thrombocytopenia that may occur with continued use.
