Tana 2a)This manual is divided into two sections. The first provides information on the
programming and synchronization of vehicle keys and transmitters for remote
Controlled alarm, central locking and immobilizer systems, The second gives
information on resetting service interval indicators fitted to a growing number of
vehicles now being presented for service in repair shops. The manwual is a
comprehensive single source of information for US domestic and imported vehicles
introduced or revised during the period 1999 to 2009,
‘The manual is part of a series from Autodata and has been written and presented in a
way which enables any professional automotive technician, with appropriate skills
and competence, to carry out reprogramming of keys or remote transmitters and to
reset service interval indicators.
Detailed knowledge of vehicle electronic systems or the digital data streams
associated with immobilizers is not required in order to make full use of this manual.
With a basic knowledge and understanding of vehicle electrical systems and
servicing operations, resetting procedures can be made using the minimum of
specialized equipment.
