STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM


MAJOR PROBLEM:

1. How will the project provide opportunities for the public to experience
powerful manifestation of nature and Filipino culture while implementing an
effectively sustainable architecture and minimizing the overall environmental
impact of the project?
2. How to create a design that will not just integrate an effective and sustainable
development but will also create a centre point that will pull people's curiosity
towards the development?

GOAL:

1. To be able to design and develop an Eco-Community Civic Hub: A


Convention Centre that will focus on minimizing the damage impact of the
project to the environment while creating a centre point by integrating an
innovative design on Green Modernity of the Filipino Vernacular Architecture.

MINOR PROBLEM:

1. How to lessen the damage impact that will occur in building the structures on
the community?
2. What other structure and features should be established in the complex that
will exhibit a sense of Philippine Batangas culture?
3. How will the structures show variety while paying attention to a sense of
spatial and front- unity?
4. How will the development be benefitted by the Green Modernity of the
Filipino Vernacular Architecture?
5. What landscape concept is the most applicable for the development?
6. How will the project be accessible for all users and how can it be safe and
secure?
7. What will be the efficient site planning design concept for this development?

OBJECTIVES:

1. To develop the site that will lessen the damage impact in the environment
2. To provide variety of structures but will show unity and distinctive features
that will exhibit a sense of Philippine-Batangas culture
3. To design a development with an efficient site planning concept
4. To develop a landscape design that will be applicable to the community and
the development
