We have adjusted the value of this variation for the following reasons.

In our opinion the rate for the supply and installation of the isolation switches are high and Gold Coast – Hobart – Melbourne
exceeds market value. Based on comparable projects of similar magnitude, scope and site Perth - Sydney
conditions we would allow $50 for the isolation switch and an hour for insatallation. We have WT Partnership International Ltd
assessed the 48 isolation switches at $140 each. Group Offices

The rates for the above items are based on equivalent items on the 'Security Merchants Costs Guide 2003'. Additionally on the
30th June 2010 i contacted Michael Schneider from Cage Security Alarms Pty Ltd on 138811 about the costs of this system.
Based on his review of the different components of this system, the supply and installation of an equivalent system
is in the order of $4,000-5,000.

Nick Jago from Davis Langdon raised concerns regarding the additional delivery charge of $75 for the door.
The reason for this replacement was due to the current one opening into an adjacent electric cupboard. I was informed
upon contacting Darren McEvoy from Grindley Construction that the reason for the additional delivery charge was due
to the replacement order been placed after the initial delivery of doors. Another reason given by Darren was that
the electrical subcontractor, Colbros Electrical is a middleman that orders different items from different suppliers and in turn
incurs a delivery charge for every order they place.
