Spencer Atin
Spencer has had a great 4 years at Tanenbaum Chat enjoying the social, academic and extra-curricular
activities. This summer, he will be a counsellor at camp Winnebagoe. In the fall, Spencer will be
attending the University of Western Ontario to study Social Sciences.
Jack Basian
Jack recently graduated from CHAT. He loved being a co-head of the Business Council -- raising funds,
creating initiatives and leading younger students. Jack is excited to be going to Western and the Richard
Ivey School of Business. He is going with many friends but also looking forward to making new ones.
Ben Cotterill
Ben recently graduated from Leaside High School as an Ontario Scholar. Ben is very involved with music
and art, and is involved with a few bands that play around the city. In the fall, Ben will be studying at the
University of Western Ontario Media, Information & Technoculture program.
Matthew Dalglish
Matthew recently graduated from St. Michaels College School where he achieved the Silver Duke of
Edinburgh Award and is currently working toward his Gold Level. This summer, Matthew is moving with
his family to Saint John, New Brunswick. In the fall, Matthew will be attending St. FX in Nova Scotia,
enrolling in their Humanities Colloquium and majoring in History.
Rory Doyle
Rory successfully completed his IB studies at Upper Canada College and is off to Western University in
the Honours Business Administration program. He is looking forward to university life and remains in
touch with many of his past and continued SHS friends.
Jeremy Glied-Beliak
Jeremy recently graduated from CHAT, where he had the pleasure of captaining the Varsity Hockey
team. Next year he will be attending Western University where he has received Advanced Entry
Opportunity status for the HBA Program at the Richard Ivey School of Business. This summer, he will
be representing Canada at the 20th Maccabi Games in Israel, as a member of the Youth Hockey Team.
Jeffrey Goldsmith
Jeffrey had a wonderful four years at RSGC, and won the Computer Science Prize for the top mark in
computer science at graduation. This summer, Jeffrey is working as a software developer at Parlay Ideas,
and educational software company. In the fall, Jeffrey will be attending the University of Waterloo to
study Computer Engineering.
Alex Lo
Alex thoroughly enjoyed his 4 years of high school at RSGC. He received 9 offers from Universities
everywhere, from Montreal, Ottawa to Toronto. Alex chose to stay in town, going to York University
for a four year Engineering program with co-op.
James McCutcheon
James recently graduated from Upper Canada College where he was recognised for his contribution to
sports with MIP of varsity basketball and volleyball teams. James was also very involved in charity and
clubs. In the fall, James will be attending Queens university to pursue a double degree in Commerce and
Computer Science.
Grant McDougall
Grant graduated from Toronto Prep this January, and then travelled to Europe to complete his last few
grade 12 credits. While traveling through France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Greece over a 3
month period, he managed to earn 4 additional credits. His epic journey was capped off with a
graduation ceremony at the Acropolis in Athens. In the fall, Grant will be attending McGill University to
pursue a degree in the Arts.
Bram Monson
Bram graduated from CHAT and will be attending Syracuse University School of Architecture in the fall.
He won the Distinguished Architecture Portfolio Award, which gives him a 5 year (partial) scholarship.
Chris Moody
Chris had the time of his life at Lakefield College where he was the head of his paper house Sheldrake as
well as the head of his residence in his graduating year. He raced on the ski team, played soccer,
ultimate Frisbee and did kayaking. In the fall, Chris will be going to the University of St. Andrews in
Scotland.
Levi Tepner
Levi Tepner successfully graduated from UTS, receiving the Mikael Areff Memorial Award Scholarship
and the UTS medal for volunteerism. During the past 4 years, Levi took on an executive role in the UTS
Speech and Debate Society, The Wellness Team, and the Peer Tutoring program. Levi also wrote the
script for SHOW 2017 (a student written, acted and directed annual production) and performed a
leading role in it. Levi has chosen to attend the University of Toronto, Arts and Science Program. He
has received a full academic scholarship for the coming year.
Issa Traore
Issa recently graduated from Blyth Acadamy, and is going to Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs in the
fall. Issa is busy with music production and modelling, and (with friends) is designing and marketing a line
of street wear.
Jonah Walters
Jonah recently graduated from Greenwood College School. Jonahs hockey team won the city
championship this year, and were finalists at the provincials. This summer, Jonah will be a counsellor at
Camp Walden. In the fall, he will be attending Western University to study Political Science.
Rory Wilmer
Rory graduated from RSGC, where he won the French prize at graduation, and was the captain of the
senior hockey team. Rory was accepted to study at Huron College (UWO) with Ivey AEO status
Jamie Wilson
Jamie loved his 4 years at UCC. He was especially devoted to football, winning two varsity
championships with his team, and rugby, for which he won an award. This summer, Jamie will be a
counsellor at Onondaga camp, where he previously attended as a camper. In the fall, hes heading to
Queens University for Engineering.
Daniel Yanofsky
Daniel recently graduated from CHAT. This summer he will be a tripper at a summer camp. In the fall,
he will be attending the University of Guelph to study Engineering.
