Power Scaling

This document describes a circuit diagram for a power attenuator that can be added to guitar amplifiers. It uses bypass capacitors and DPDT switches to provide three levels of power damping - full power, 1/8 to 1/4 power, and 1/2 power - for two power tubes in a Marshall 18-watt amplifier. Additional switches allow switching between fixed cathode bias and pentode/triode modes of operation.
