RESEARCH CONGRESS

Date : April 4, 2017

This is to endorse for SUCs participation, the 1st International Steam (Science, Technology,
Engineering, Agri-Fisheries And Mathematics) Research Congress of the Eastern Visayas
State University (EVSU) in partnership with the Philippine Association for the Advancement
of Science and Technology, Department of Science and Technology (DOST-RO8),
Commission on Higher Education (CHED-RO8) and the Eastern Visayas Consortium for
Industry and Energy Research and Development (EViCIERD) to be held on May 10-12,
2017 at Eastern Visayas State University, Main Campus, Tacloban City.

Anchored on the theme, STEAM Inno-Search: Upholding Resilience and Sustainable


Development, the congress will have the following objectives:

1. To provide an avenue for STEAM professionals and students to share knowledge;


2. To introduce participants to new discoveries and knowledge on STEAM;
3. To capacitate participants skills in STEAM research and research dissemination

lunches, 6 snacks. Hotel accommodation and local tours not included but may be arranged
upon the request by the participants.

Please be reminded that participation to this congress shall be VOLUNTARY and use of
government funds is subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations of
the government.
