GUIDELINES FOR SAYAWIT

1. Participants must be bona fide students of Metro Dumaguete College.


2. A minimum of 10 and maximum of 15 participants (male or female or
combination) shall perform during the contest.
3. The performance must consist of song and dance presentation that promotes
Metro Dumaguete College. Participants must actually sing and dance at the same
time. English language must be used.
4 . The presentation should last for a maximum of five minutes and minimum
of three minutes in which period shall be included the introduction and exit
of performers.
5. A deduction of 1 point in the overall score every 1 minute excess.
6. Any musical accompaniment for the presentation shall be allowed.
7. Props should be at minimum only.
8. Only one group shall represent a section.-.judging shall be based on the following
criteria.

Precision of Dance Movements --20%


Voice Quality -------- 20%
Originality----------- 20%
Projection and Overall Impact ---- 10%
Content of the song ------------------30%
